Teething bites

I see them I swear. Those tiny razor sharp teeth hanging below the gummy surface. George feels them and oh boy is he miserable. I’m getting miserable. He slept about 2 hours today and has fussed much of the other 22. I don’t think I could handle having aching gums. I might just go psycho. I’ve resorted to making sure little man has his toy of choice, Sophie the giraffe. This giraffe is a godsend.

Sophie the Giraffe

She’s the cute little squeaky giraffe that is pretty much mainstream and comes from France. You can find her in any baby supply store and online. This little rubber toy is complete relief for those aching gums. He chews and gnaws away with vengeance. Now if only Sophie was available for night calls with out interrupting me. I just keep telling myself, “it won’t be long…{and repeat}.

Maku and Baku

As Julia’s mother, I felt it was time to introduce her two favorite dolls. This picture was snapped as they played in the car on our way home from the beach. The one on the left is Maku. She is the oldest and pretty much fends for herself. Give her her paci and put her to bed. She sleeps alot! Then there is Baku. She is Julia’s new baby. Never far from site, Baku gets all the attention most likely cause she is the newborn. She is also the smaller of the two and she is still breastfeeding as Julia has been doing publicly for a few days now. Gotta love how they copy us (and I don’t do public feeding).

So these are our adorable 2 grandolls from my 2 year old Julia. Practice makes perfect. Right?

Making music pre-school style

Fisher Price has re-released it’s good ole’ Fisher-Price Music Box Record Player. You can find it at Target. How fun and simple!  What a great toy for a pre-schooler. I remember how exciting it was to grab a colored record and play it on this player. Then store it in the back and grab and go. It will come with 5 records that play two songs each from Humpty Dumpty to another favorite of ours Hickory Dickory Dock and much more.

I love when they make the old new again. Click here to read about their release.

Fun with the little ones

The Little People Julia can’t live without. Her bus driver is working at the moment.  Cute little things.

Just to think I used to pay with the same people. They sure have made them more appealing to the eye! :)

Cover me and cuddle me

So our son is now peaking at 3 months old. He is an adorable and calm natured little munchkin. Everyday he is a blessing as is our muslin wrap that is always by our side. It’s the swaddle fabric by Aden + Anais. It’s amazing and can be used for many different things. Not only did we swaddle him in it, we are also using it as a blanket (warm summer days now), a cover for nursing, a spit up cloth, and a sun shield on the car seat. We love it. They definitely created a really nice product that goes a long way. Big and cool, you can roll it up and take it any wear. Forget those other blankets and just invest in these. You and your baby won’t be sorry!

Tiny trike

We took a trip to Toys ‘r us and needless to say, Julia was in toy heaven. She was yelling out at the dolls and talking up strangers. That’s our child! We went around and around and came across a red toy chopper. We put her on and she just sat there and held on to the bars. Was too cute! Starting early? Not…:0)
